Complex Needs Support
Parent sessions support you in understanding your child's feelings, identifying support options, examining your experiences as a parent and helping you and your child communicate more effectively.
These sessions can be single consultations or ongoing support, often serving as a helpful first step considering therapy for your child.
One-on-one therapy for children, young people, and adults, adapting to each individual's emotional needs and developmental stage.
Whether seeking help for anxiety, low mood, emotional outbursts, grief, relationship issues, or feeling overwhelmed. I prioritise building trust and work at the individual's pace.
Sessions with Children involve talking, play, drawing, or storytelling to facilitate expression, with more reflective sessions for teens and adults to explore feelings and past experiences.
I specialise in therapy for PTSD and Complex PTSD (using CATT therapy), supporting children in care with attachment trauma, and assessing children and young people who have harmed others.
My work requires care and clinical experience, collaborating closely with families, carers, and professionals to provide appropriate support.

About Me
I bring over 20 years clinical training and professional insight.
I’m a registered member of the BACP, with a Masters in Psychotherapy, a qualified Play Therapist, with further qualifications in child and adolescent mental health, and Children’s Accelerated Trauma Therapy.
Relationships are a science, we are all behaviour scientists — children and adults alike — trying to work out how we feel, how others behave, and how to make sense of it all. Therapy offers a space to explore that gently and honestly, so we can shift unhelpful patterns and move forward.
For me, therapy isn’t just about talking — it’s about reconnecting with joy, hope, and emotional confidence. I want all of us to feel stronger, more connected, and better equipped to enjoy life.
Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my child needs therapy?
If you’re worried, trust that instinct. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear “problem” — I often work with children who are simply finding things hard or whose behaviour has changed. We can talk it through in a parent consultation first if you’re unsure.

What does a therapy session look like?
Every session is different. For younger children, we might use toys, art, or storytelling. Older children might prefer to talk, draw or use metaphors. For adults — there’s no pressure to “perform” or explain everything straight away.

Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I offer online therapy for teenagers and adults, and parent consultations can also be held online. For children under 10, in-person is usually more effective.
How much do sessions cost?
The first 20 minute phone consultation is free.
After this the fees per 50 minute session are:
-
Children and Young People £45
 -
Adults £55
 -
Parents £65

Concessions may be available and can be discussed in the initial consultation.
Fees for organisation are agreed on a case by case basis.
